A TYPICAL DAY CRUISING THROUGH EUROPE
On a typical cruise day the ship departs at dawn. Early risers
can watch the sunrise from the Sun Deck while savouring
a cup
of freshly brewed coffee, walk laps on the 100
meter track or participate in exercise classes before heading
to the Panorama restaurant for the delectable
morning buffet. After breakfast dock in a charming town or a
major city and enjoy the all-included sightseeing tours. Spend the entire morning exploring on shore,
before continuing to cruise around noon.
Refresh
in your comfortable cabin, then treat yourself to a delicious
buffet lunch, surrounded by magnificent scenery. In the afternoon,
relax on the Sun Deck and let the world float by or sip your
favourite drink at the Lido Bar. Opt for an interesting lecture
presented in the lounge, inspect the ship upside-down from the
kitchen to the engine room or play a game of giant chess on the Sun Deck.
At
dinner, the chef will always try to surprise you with a gourmet
meal selection and the right choice of wine, which is also included
in your cruise fare. At night, local entertainers will perform
on board or pre-arranged activities will take place in town. Afterwards
there is time to explore the local nightlife ashore or dance to
piano music on board – there is never a dull moment.

ASIA
- THE MEKONG RIVER CRUISES
The
Mekong River winds its way from the Tibetan plateaus
of China’s Yunnan province, through the rainforests,
plains and rice fields of five Southeast Asian countries
before meeting the South China Sea. In terms of length,
it’s the 12th largest river in the world, but
in terms of historic, cultural and ecological richness-the
Mekong has no equal. The sagas of ancient empires,
colonial powers and modern conflicts have unfolded
along her banks. And, through it all, the Mekong
remains first and foremost a lifeline. Temples, trade
routes and fishing villages in the river’s
path are today untouched by time, just as the way
of life they represent. And nowhere are the river’s
riches more apparent than in the neighboring-but
distinct countries-of Vietnam and Cambodia.
