Welcome to a special Fiji Island adventure, sailing through the
Southern Yasawa Islands aboard the tall ship SV Spirit of the
Pacific. This unique safari - perfect for travellers with a taste
for camping style holidays - takes you from Denarau Marina on
Viti Levu across turquoise waters to beautiful Drawaqa Island,
your base for days of sea and island adventures. You will stay
in traditional thatched bures (twin beds and linen supplied).
Enjoy sunset swims, night fishing tours, island treks, campfire
barbeques, and Fijian 'lovo' feasts. As we sail from destination
to destination you can laze on deck or gain a few tips on tall

The
SV Spirit of the Pacific sails to Drawaqa Island on the opening
day of these cruises, arriving at our special Sailing Safari Village
in the mid afternoon. This village is the base for all your adventures
over the next three to four days, returning each night to your
bure accommodation.
From the Safari Village you will:
- Explore Drawaqa Island on an early morning guided trek.
- Snorkel the coral gardens just off its white sand beaches.
- Sail to reef fringed islands for swimming, snorkelling
and island exploring.
- Sail to a traditional island village to participate
in the Sevusevu Welcome Ceremony, meke (dance) and handcraft
market.
- Join in a Lovo (earth over) feast.
- Enjoy evening campfire barbeques.

What
to bring on your Safari: Is is a safari so travel light:
a soft kit bag to keep on board, a small overnight bag
for the safari village, toiletries, towel, swimwear, sun
hat, sunscreen, reef walking shoes, a sulu (sarong) for
island villages, any medication you need, and small denomination
Fijian money. The onboard boutique carries suntan lotions,
postcards, sulus, t-shirts, film and snack foods.
Each
cruise includes camping style bure accommodation, all
meals plus morning and afternoon teas, snorkelling equipment,
excursions and guided treks as outlined, and Tax.
Transfers, Personal purchases, drinks, and any optional
activities are additional.
Tivua Island Cruises
Tivua concentrates all the attractions of a small Fijian tropical
island close enough to Nadi to be the perfect destination for
short cruises and overnight stays. A sanctuary for turtles during
the nesting season, Tivua is surrounded by a circle of white
sandy beach beyond while lies 500 acres of coral gardens.
Sailing
aboard the brigantine Ra Marama on Tivua Island you can sunbathe
in the bowspirit and enjoy music and entertainment as you cruise.

On
Tivua Island you will find bure accommodation for just two
couples. At night it is a romantic hideaway where dinner
on the beach beneath the stars and lanturn-lit walks make
the world seen very distant. During the day you can enjoy
the same activities as day tour visitors including return
sailing on the Ra Marama and buffet lunch with beer, wine
and soft drinks. Other inclusions are transfers to and from
Nadi, dinner and continental breakfast and tax. Your Bure
accommodation features a private balcony, bathroom / shower
(cool fresh water) and a queen bed and single bed.
