CHILDREN'S FEES
On these cruises, children between 2 and 15 years travel at
a special price, quoted on the price list. The reduced fee applies
to a child who travels in the same cabin (upper bed) with at
least one person who pays the full fee.
PASSPORT AND VISA
Each
passenger is responsible to have the required travel documents.
Finnish citizens are required to carry a valid passport on all
the mentioned cruises (or the official valid ID-Card when travelling
only to the EU-countries). The passport must be entire and it
must have enough empty pages for the possible stamps. We recommend
taking a photocopy of the passport´s main pages and keeping
them safe during the cruise. This will help the procedure in
case you lose your passport.
On European cruises the passport must be valid for three months
past the scheduled ending of the journey, and on cruises outside
Europe for six months past the scheduled ending.
If you do not have a Finnish passport, please inform us about
this when booking the cruise.
On the cruises to Libya and Egypt Kristina Cruises will provide
the cruise visa for the passengers using our charter flights.
The cruise visa entitles to join the shore excursions. Should
you prefer to go independently outside of the port cities in
Libya and Egypt you will need a visa.
Visas should be applied in the country of residence and are
the responsibility of each individual passenger. Visa charges
are not included in the cruise rate. Passengers should always
check the requirements with the Embassy or Consulate in question.
VACCINATIONS AND OTHER RECOMMENDATIONS
Finnish medical authorities recommend that you
should always have your polio, diphtheria and tetanus vaccinations
up to date.
This is particularly important when travelling abroad. Please
check for any other recommendations from your local medical authority.
In order to avoid possible stomach problems especially in Egypt,
you may wish to take some anti-diarrheic medication with you.
Most of our cabins have carpets, so people with possible allergy
problems are advised to have the necessary medications with them.
Also ensure that you have a sufficient supply of any medication
for the duration of the trip, including possible delayed flights.
It is advisable to keep medication and prescriptions in the hand
luggage, in their original packaging. There are no lifts on the
ship, so we cannot recommend the cruises for people with severely
limited mobility
TRAVEL INSURANCE
We recommend that you have travel and luggage insurance, preferably
one including basic insurance, to cover for example serious illness
or death of yourself, a close relative or your travel companion.
You will get the detailed instructions from your travel insurance
company.
