Glide
along 2,000 river kilometres across Europa – from
Amsterdam on the North Sea to Budapest, the Queen of
the Danube!" Across Europe" is one of the most
exciting and varied cruises in our rogramme. On this
journey you see Europe from its most important waterways – the
Rhine, the Main and the Danube – all big names and proud rivers. You’ll
have sufficient time and leisure to absorb the wonderful scenery along the rivers.
|
There’s
no shortage of sights to see on this cruise, either!
Just think of Amsterdam, the Venice of the North, the
fascinating Dutch canals, German cities steeped in
history (like Cologne, Würzburg, Bamberg, and
Regensburg), the legendary Loreley rock and the romantic
Altmühl valley, the Schlögen river bends
below Passau and the peaceful Wachau district in Austria,
and in Hungary the “knee” of the Danube
near Visegrad and, most impressive of all, the way
the Danube makes its majestic way into Budapest.
Seen from the water, the endless mosaic that is Europe is constantly
fascinating.
