Let’s
take to the Danube in spring, with soft green fields,
bushes with white, yellow and pink flowers, and trees
as far as the eye can see. The apricot orchards in
the Wachau awake from their hibernation and are transformed,
often overnight, into a splendid sea of bridal colours.
|
The
colours to be seen in the big cities of the Danube – Vienna,
Bratislava and Budapest – are a kaleidoscope
of pastels at this time of year, and marvellously romantic.
Enjoy the wonderful fresh spring air that wafts towards you wherever you
are, whether on the sun deck or ashore or, of course, especially in the
big city parks. |

|
Day

Heuriger are just as famous as St. Stephen's Cathedral
and the Imperial Palace.
See all the important sights on our Vienna sightseeing tour (incl.) or

AMADEUS with a glorious view of the beautifully floodlit
buildings on both banks of the river.
|

Gypsy band, specially engaged for this cruise, entertains
you on board with lively music and you also see a performance
by a Hungarian folklore group. |
|
|
Day
4 - After a substantial breakfast, relax
in the morning on the sun deck and take in the picturesque
panorama as it glides by. At 1.30 p.m. the AMADEUS

during the Bratislava sightseeing tour (incl.).

idyllic wine-growing town of Emmersdorf. From here,

trip through the scenic and mythical Wachau. On the
last evening of your journey on the Danube, the captain
of the AMADEUS will be delighted to welcome you to
the Captain Gala Dinner. |
