Click image for larger picture Let’s take to the Danube in spring, with soft green fields, bushes with white, yellow and pink flowers, and trees as far as the eye can see. The apricot orchards in the Wachau awake from their hibernation and are transformed, often overnight, into a splendid sea of bridal colours.
The colours to be seen in the big cities of the Danube – Vienna, Bratislava and Budapest – are a kaleidoscope of pastels at this time of year, and marvellously romantic.
Enjoy the wonderful fresh spring air that wafts towards you wherever you are, whether on the sun deck or ashore or, of course, especially in the big city parks.
