TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Prices are in Australian Dollars
DEPOSIT
Reservations
will be confirmed upon receipt of completed and signed booking
form and a non refundable deposit of 25% of the cruise
price.
CANCELLATION CONDITIONS.
If any booking is cancelled more than 90 days pre-cruise the deposit
will be forfeited. If a booking is cancelled WITHIN 90 days of
the cruise the scale of cancellation fees shown below will apply.
However , if the space is then resold this may be refunded if,
and only at the rate at which the cancelled accommodation is
resold.
Days Prior to cruise when written confirmation of cancellation
received.
- Up
to 90 days 45% of the cruise price
- Up
to 60 days 95% of cruise price
- Less
than 60 days 100% of cruise price
INSURANCE
Insurance against
death, personal accident, injury or illness and loss, damage or
theft of personal effects is not included in
the cruise price and no responsibility will be accepted by the
company for such accidents or losses unless, and to the extent
that, any such loss or damage is proved to have been caused by
the negligence of Saroche, in which case the liability
shall be limited to the price paid for the cruise.
SAROCHE
RESPONSIBILITY
Saroche shall not be liable fore any loss, damage injury
or delay, including travel delays due to bad weather, industrial
action or any other reasons beyond its control, incurred by the
client before the start of or during the cruise.
Saroche cannot accept the responsibility for delay caused
by waterway repairs, floods, drought or untoward events and reserves
the right to vary or restrict a cruise. In such an event every
effort will be made to re-route the barge and alert the client
to any such alterations but the client shall have no claim upon
the company. The client shall have no claim against the company
in the event of breakdown or failure of the barge engine or any
other equipment associated with the barge or for any delays cause
by repairs to such equipment. If the cruise is curtailed due to
equipment failure an amount proportional to the un-expired portion
of the cruise will be refunded but no further claim can be made
against the company.
Saroche has the right to cancel any cruise or portion
thereof at any time , on refund of the appropriate amount paid
by any cruise
participant, and to change any cruise route due to circumstances
beyond its reasonable control without liability to any cruise participant.
