SAMPLE ITINERARY

Day 01: USA-CHINA
Overnight flights to China.

DAY 2: BEIJING
Arrive in China’s capital and transfer to your 4 *hotel. Due to various arrival times, meals are on your own.

DAY 3: BEIJING
Enjoy a morning city tour to Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City. An optional Hutong Tour with lunch with a local family is offered or have a free afternoon for yourself. The evening is reserved for your special Peking Duck Welcome Dinner. (B, SD)

DAY 4: BEIJING
This morning depart for a half day excursion to the Great Wall with lunch. Afterwards visit a Jade factory. The balance of the day is free. An optional evening China Opera performance is available from your guide. (B, L)

DAY 5: BEIJING - YICHANG
EMBARKATION
Fly from Beijing to Yichang in the late morning. Then enjoy touring this Yangtze gateway including lunch and dinner at local restaurants before embarking your luxurious vessel. (B, L, D)

DAY 6: THREE GORGES DAM
Visit the Three Gorges Dam. Upon returning to the ship, pass the gigantic locks of Three Gorges Dam and sail through the Xiling Gorge. In the evening enjoy a Captain’s cocktail and Crew fashion show! (B, L, D)

DAY 7: SAMPAN RIDE
Today you travel down the Shennong Stream or Danning River in small motorized sampans to view 1000 year old hangning coffins, unique flora and fauna and unspoiled local minority villages. In the afternoon, pass through the Wu and Qutang Gorges. A Crew Revue is on for tonight! (B, L, D)

DAY 8: YANGTZE RIVERTOWN
Depending on sailing conditions, today you will stop and tour one of two typical Yangtze riverside towns: Shibaozhai or Fengdu. Your walking tour will highlight all the local attractions. Then it’s time to prepare for your Captain’s Farewell Dinner followed by the Karaoke party where passenger participation is welcome! (B, L, D)

DAY 9: CHONGQING-XIAN
DISEMBARKATION
Bid your lovely ship goodbye, as you disembark and continue your China adventure with a stop at the fabulous Panda Zoo. In the evening fly to Xian. Transfer to your first class hotel where dinner is on your own. (B, L)

DAY 10: XIAN
This exciting day will begin with a tour of the magnificent History Museum, where the 8000 Terra-Cotta Warriors of Emperor Qi have been buried for over 2000 years! Enjoy lunch at the museum and afterwards visit a lacquer-ware factory. The day will end with a fabulous Tang Dynasty dinner and show. (B, L, SD)

DAY 11: XIAN - SHANGHAI
Time permitting, visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda on the way to the airport before flying to Shanghai. In the afternoon, your sightseeing tour will include the Bund and Yu Yuan Gardens. Dinner and overnight. (B, D)

DAY 12: SHANGHAI
Your morning tour visits the Jade Buddha Temple with a Mongolian style BBQ lunch afterwards. Next you will visit the Children’s Palace. Then you have some time on your own before dinner, which will be followed by an amazing Chinese Acrobatic Show. (B, SL, D)

DAY 13: SHANGHAI - HOME
As all good things must end.
