ITINERARY
Day 1:Arrive
from your overnight flights to China
Day 2: Arrival Beijing Arrive in
China’s capital and transfer to your
first class hotel. Due to various flight arrival times, the
day is free of activities and meals are on your own.
Day 3: Beijing Morning city tour
of Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City. Lunch is on your own. The evening
is reserved for your special Peking Duck Dinner. (B, SD)
Day 4: Beijing This morning you will depart for a half day excursion
to the Great Wall of China. Optional Tour of the Hutong area,
where you can ride a bicycle rickshaw, visit a local kindergarten
and the home of a Chinese family. (B, L)
Day 5: Beijing
- Yichang EMBARKATION Today fly from Beijing to Yichang. This port town is the gateway
for upstream Yangtze Cruises. Lunch and dinner at local restaurants
before boarding your floating hotel. (B, L, D)
Day 6: Three
Gorges Dam
Excursion to the impressive Three Gorges Dam. Upon returning to
the ship, pass the gigantic locks on our way through Xiling Gorge, the first
of the three large Gorges. (B, L, D)
Day 7: Shennong
Stream
Today you will pass
the Qutang Gorge and the Wu Gorge. You will embark on small
motorized sampans for an excursion on
the Shennong Stream, where you will see rare wildlife, the
ancient “hanging” coffins and local villages of
Chinese minority people. (B, L, D)
Day 8:Shibaozhai
Today you make a stop at Shibaozhai, a typical riverside town,
where a tour will introduce you to the local attractions.
The evening is reserved for your Captain’s Gala dinner.

9: Chongqing
- Shanghai DISEMBARKATION
Bid your lovely ship goodbye in Chongqing as you disembark
and continue your China adventure with a stop at the
renown Panda Hall followed by a visit to the communal
Artist Village. Fly to Shanghai. On arrival, enjoy dinner
at a local restaurant prior to reaching your hotel for
check-in and overnight.
Day 10: Shanghai
Your tour of this vibrant city will include the Bund,
Yu Yuan Gardens, a BBQ lunch, a visit to the famous Children’s
Palace and a local silk factory. The balance of the day
is on your own to explore or shop or take in the optional
Acrobatic Show. (B, L)

11:Shanghai
Full free day to explore on your own, shop ‘till
you drop or take one of the many optional tours (available
from your guide) as you spend your last day in this wonderful,
