ITINERARY
DAY 1 (TU): FLY TO EGYPT
Overnight flights from the US to Egypt.
DAY 2 (WE): CAIRO
On arrival, transfer to your 5* hotel (Barcello Pyramids or similar).
Due to various arrival times, no activities are planned for today.
Meals are on your own.
DAY 3 (TH): CAIRO
Full day tour of the ancient Pyramids. In the morning explore the
3 Pyramids of Giza. After a lunch break (on own), continue to
Memphis to explore the oldest Step Pyramid of Sakkhara. Return
to your hotel. Dinner is on your own. (B)
DAY 4 (FR): CAIRO - ASWAN
EMBARKATION
Fly to Aswan. Transfer to your 5 star floating hotel for check-in.
In the afternoon embark on your sightseeing tour of Aswan, which
will include the Phillae Temple, the Unfinished Obelisk, the High
Dam and will end with a delightful fellucca ride. Return to ship
for dinner. Set sail early next morning. (B, L, D)
DAY 5 (SA): KOM OMBO - EDFU - ESNA - LUXOR
Your first stop will be to view the Temples of Kom Ombo. Sail on
during lunch. Tour Edfu and the magnificent Temple of Horus,
dedicated to the Falcon God. Continue sailing to Luxor. Enjoy
a galabaya party on board. (B, L, D)
DAY 6 (SU): LUXOR
After breakfast, your morning tour will take you to the Valley
of the Kings to explore the ancient tombs of 64 Pharaohs. Return
to the ship for lunch. In the afternoon tour the Karnak & Luxor
Temples. Farewell dinner and final overnight on board. (B, L,
D)
DAY 7 (MO): LUXOR - CAIRO
After breakfast bid your ship goodbye and fly to CAIRO. On arrival
your sightseeing will include a tour of the Egyptian Museum followed
by sightseeing of the Old Town. After a final farewell dinner
at a local restaurant, transfer to your airport hotel (Novotel
or similar) for a final overnight. (B, D)
DAY 8 (TU): CAIRO - FLY HOME
End of Cruise.
