ITINERARY
DAY 01: ARRIVE IN KIEV
EMBARKATION
Upon your arrival in Kiev, transfer to the port for embarkation.
A welcome drink and crew introduction will precede dinner. (D)
DAY 02: KIEV
After breakfast, depart on a sightseeing tour of this ancient and
beautiful city including an inside tour of the renowned St. Sophia
Cathedral and the gargantuan statue of Mother Ukraine. Enjoy
the afternoon at leisure. (B, L, D)
DAY 03: KIEV
Set Sail pm
After breakfast, depart for a tour of the Pecherskaya Lavra Caves
and Tombs. Founded in the 11th century, the complex contains many
unique, ancient religious relics. The afternoon is free. Tonight,
set sail. (B, L, D)
DAY 4: AT SAIL
Relax and enjoy a full day at sail! Participate in our "Ukraine
National Day with Lectures, Games and Onboard Activities. (B, L,
D)
DAY 05: ZAPOROZHYE
Today, enjoy a morning city tour of Zaporozhye, including the Cossack
History Museum. After lunch on board, enjoy some free time (an
optional Cossack Show will be offered) before setting sail in
the late afternoon. (B, L, D)
DAY 6: KHERSON
Upon arrival in Kherson, enjoy a boat trip along the Dnieper Delta.
In the afternoon, enjoy on board lecture and activities while
sailing towards Sevastopol. (B, L, D)
DAY 7: SEVASTOPOL
This morning, depart on your city tour. After lunch on board, enjoy
some free time in this exciting city. An optional tour will be
offered as well. At night, we highly recommend the optional Black
Sea ensemble choir concert! (B, L, D)
DAY 8: SEVASTOPOL - YALTA
After breakfast, depart on your excursion to Yalta including the
views of Swallows Nest and a tour of the Livadia Palace, where
Churchill, Stalin and Roosevelt decided the fate of the post
WWII world. (B, L, D)
DAY 9: AT SAIL
Another magnificent day to enjoy the passing vistas and participate
in on board lectures, games and activities. (B, L, D)
DAY 10: VILKOVO
Walking tour of this town often referred to the “Venice of
Ukraine” due to its many channels where local boats are the
most common means of transportation. You will get acquainted with
life of local fishermen and visit Orthodox St. Nicolas church.
Captain's Farewell Dinner. (B, L, D)
DAY 11: ODESSA
Your city tour will be featuring the main attractions of this beautiful
and cosmopolitan city.After lunch on board, you can explore Odessa
on your own, or go on the optional tour of the Fine Arts Museum.
Dinner on board, and an optional opera or ballet performance
